New York's New Center for Artistic Invention.

On the far west side of Manhattan where the High Line meets Hudson Yards, The Shed will be housed in a 200,000-square-foot, six-level structure designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group. The radically flexible design of the performative structure can physically and operationally accommodate the broadest range of performance, visual art, music, and multi-disciplinary work.

Food and Beverage Services will include a Café, Pop Up seasonal kiosks and multiple event locations throughout the building. The Skylit dedicated event space is located on the top floor and will host events up to 450 guests . The spectacular “Hall” will be available on a limited basis for private events. It boasts a telescoping outer shell that deploys over the adjoining plaza to provide a 120-foot-tall, temperature controlled hall which has the ability to host amplified music, is equipped with black out shades, state of the art rigging, a flying truss system, and gallery and theatrical lighting. The Hall will be one of the few premiere venues in NYC that can accommodate seated dinners for 1,000 guests.
