The Astor House
The ASTOR House is an elegant five- story limestone building, located in the Upper East of Manhattan which was designed by the celebrated architect Mott R Schmidt in 1927 for Vincent Astor and his family. It was purchased by the New York Junior League in 1947 and designated a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1967. This historic venue offers 12 elegant private rooms each with its timeless charm and style.
ASTOR House is in the process of redesigning its two premier event spaces as well as adding an dedicated outdoor garden. These locations will be introduced in early 2019 to the New York City market for discerning clients requesting a timeless and elegant backdrop for a special event.
